Destination wedding sul lago di Brais

Hi, I’m Valentina, videographer in the wedding sector, and I define myself as an independent traveler, why independent?
Simple, I don’t like having the support of a travel agency or a tour operator to visit new places.
I define my travels as life experiences, and as Ernest Hemingway says: “Never go on vacation with someone you don’t love”.
In this section we will talk about dream places in which to get married, locations that the spouses have never taken into consideration perhaps because they are considered uncomfortable but which on the contrary will give that suggestive and impossible to replicate touch to your images.

For lovers of nature and autumn weddings, it would certainly be an incredible sight to get married on a lake. Italy is rich in lakes, but allow me to tell you that the most beautiful are certainly located in Trentino Alto Adige.

Here I will show you some of the most evocative lakes in the area, such as: Lake Brais, which rises at the foot of the Dolomites is a unique and unforgettable sight, with its crystal clear waters it is possible to see the Dolomites reflected within it.
Very easy to reach, Lake Brais is bordered by a path from which you can admire this scenery from any angle and also offers a rental service to be able to cross it aboard wooden boats that make the experience one of a kind.

Second, but certainly not least, is Lake Rèsia, it stands out from the others for its bell tower that rises proudly from the waters.
Lake Rèsia (Reschensee in German) is an artificial alpine lake located at 1,498 m a.s.l. in the municipality of Curon Venosta in South Tyrol, north of the nearby lake of San Valentino alla Muta. With its capacity of 120 million cubic metres, it is the largest lake in the province of Bolzano.

A legend accompanies Lake Resia. It is said that on some winter nights, when the lake is frozen and a strong cold wind is blowing, it is still possible to hear the bells of the Curon bell tower ring. This is despite the fact that the bells themselves were removed from the bell tower on July 18, 1959.

Not to be missed is walking on the thin spit of land that joins the two lakes.

Both places are surrounded by structures capable of hosting grnte from all over the world,
ideal scenarios for a noteworthy destination wedding.

Moving only a hundred km we find ourselves at the foot of one of the largest lakes in Italy, Lake Como, which extends majestically and a series of characteristic villages arise on its shores such as Sirmione sul Garda, Limone del Garda and many others.
The weddings that are held every year on this lake are real luxury weddings that would make even the most skeptical fall in love.

For mountain lovers however, in its truest essence you can get to Bolzano (city of art), and then take the Renon cable car which will take you to the intimate and characteristic Soprabolzano.

Soprabolzano (Oberbozen in German) is a small town in the province of Bolzano, in the Italian municipality of Renon in Alto Adige, on the plateau of the same name, at 1221 m a.s.l., a timeless village full of hotels that will be happy to host your guests, making them relax in the days preceding the event in their luxurious SPAs and keep them busy with small excursions in the high mountain villages.

Remarkable is the church of San Giorgio and San Giacomo dating back to the XIII century, perfect for religious rites, here you can admire the beautiful frescoes in the curvature of the apse.

However, not everyone is aware that from the small Soprabolzano it will be possible to take a vintage train with only 2 carriages to go around the neighboring villages.
